Rendering honey takes time but is rewarding. The little bees work hard for the honey stored. Each bee will contribute probably 2 tablespoons of honey in its short lifespan.
Nothing ever goes to waste including WAX! We render that as well. Be it candles, lip balm, or just wax blocks.
We have raw honey, but we filter out any impurities that may linger. The key word is RAW. If it says pure then it has been processed and has had heat applied to it. Which is ok, but it is no longer raw.
The frames are full of honey comb. When the honey is ready they are capped with wax for the bees to save for later. We uncap it and spin the honey out with centrifugal force.
This is after the filtering and uncapping. This it going into a bottle for those to enjoy raw honey!
